If you still want to attend J-Serve:

  • You may attend if there is still space on a bus after all registered participants are checked in.
  • Please download and complete the parent waiver from the following site: http://www.pjll.org/article.php?id=298
  • You may complete the waiver at the bus location, BUT A PARENT/GUARDIAN MUST BE PRESENT TO SIGN THE FORM
  • Please arrive at one of the 3 bus locations at 12:30 (JCCGW, JCCNV or Adas Israel)
  • All buses will return at 6:00 p.m.

J-Serve 2008: Make a Difference DC

Volunteers in 7th-12th Grade

Bus Transportation Provided from MD, DC and VA 

Bus pick-up/drop-off locations: JCC-GW, Adas Israel and JCC-NV

Come volunteer with a local non-profit environmental organization to strengthen the surroundings of and public access to nature trails around the Anacostia Watershed in      Washington, DC.

At J- Serve, volunteers will:

  • clean up the natural surroundings,
  • remove invasive plant species

Teens with special needs or disabilities requiring extra support to participate in this event should call  Ellen, at 240-283-6246 or e-mail JserveDC@pjll.org , by April 10.  Please contact Ellen if you have concerns related to severe outdoor allergies.
